Sabrina Carpenter is spilling details on her ‘risque’ music video amid Eric Adams scandal.

The pop star is finally setting record straight on the scandal involving the Brooklyn priest, who was demoted after the singer filmed a music video in his church last year.

During her concert in New York City’s Madison Square on Sunday, Sept. 29, the Espresso hitmaker put her foot down once and for all.

Addressing the controversy amidst her Sunday performance, the Please Please Please songstress revealed to Variety‘We got approval in advance.

She told the publication, “What should we talk about… how I got the mayor indicted?”

This comes shortly after Eric Adams was indicted on Wednesday, September 25, for his alleged ties to foreign businessmen and a Turkish official who influenced his decision-making.

For the unversed, the monsignor previously opened up about the video, which was filmed in 2023, sharing his stance on granting the permission to shoot within the holy premises.

He issued a statement that explained his “effort to further strengthen the bonds between young creative artists, who comprise a significant portion of this community.”
