WRT announces its crews for the Bathurst 12H with Rossi

A year after his pole position, Sheldon van der Linde will make his return to Bathurst. The South African, author of the best time last year in qualifying, had to retire after a collision with a Ginetta GT4. A year later, the BMW driver returned to take his revenge, but changed teammates.

The Brazilian Augusto Farfus replaces Dries Vanthoor, while Charles Weerts moves from the #32 BMW to the #46. Sheldon van der Linde welcomes his brother Kelvin with whom he will share the wheel for the first time. The eldest of the van der Linde siblings finished third last year at Bathurst in an Audi.

In the second BMW of Team WRT, Charles Weerts will replace his compatriot Maxime Martin alongside Raffaele Marciello and Valentino Rossi. The #46 BMW M4 will try to do better than last year, when it finished fifth.

WRT won the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2018 while entering Audi R8s. Victory went to the trio Robin Frijns, Stuart Leonard and Dries Vanthoor.
