Formula 1 | Mercedes and Aston Martin do not plan an official launch for their cars

Mercedes and Aston Martin F1 are not planning a run at Silverstone nor, a priori, an official presentation for the launch of their 2025 F1 cars.

In previous seasons, the German team has almost always run its new car at Silverstone in a shakedown and held an official launch event, but it seems that for the 2025 W16 the team will not organize anything of particular.

Mercedes will hold a filming day in Bahrain just before the start of pre-season testing in Bahrain, which begins on February 26 and lasts three days.

This filming day will be the first time the new car will be seen in public, with George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli driving this season's car.

It is therefore, unsurprisingly, an old Mercedes (with the new livery) which will be present at the launch of the “F1 75” season at the O2 Arena in London on February 18.

As for Aston Martin F1, we also skipped Silverstone and the team informed the media that the AMR25 would also run for the first time in Bahrain on February 25, alongside the W16, without a launch. especially for the occasion. But certain things could be revealed on the Internet before, according to our sources…
