. Racing Bulls unveil a livery reminiscent of the Sauber Petronas of the 2000s

Racing Bulls has just revealed its special livery for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The VCARB01 is decorated with numerous glitters to recall the payment card of its sponsor, Visa Cash App, on a turquoise blue background. However, for the most fans among you, you will recognize the reference to the livery in the colors of Red Bull's first steps in Formula 1.

In 1996 when Red Bull decided to sponsor a Formula 1 team, it was with Sauber, then also sponsored by Petronas, that they joined forces. This association then allows for the first time to find turquoise blue associated with dark blue and the red bull.

This variant of the Racing Bulls design is, however, if we are to believe the marketing discourse given by Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, apparently a pure coincidence. Indeed, it is because of the new glitter payment card from sponsor Visa Cash app that this livery owes its colors. The livery is in fact accompanied by numerous glitters integrated into the paint / stickers in order to make the VCARB shine in the spotlight of the race which will be held at night this weekend.

Note that other teams have planned special liveries. Alpine will notably display its alternative pink livery.

Peter Bayer, CEO of the team said: “Las Vegas wouldn't be Las Vegas without a touch of glitz, and as the glamor capital, it was obvious that this livery had to be featured at the Las Vegas race. This venue holds a special place in the team's history, as it's where we launched VCARB earlier this year. Since then, our creative collaboration with our partners has resulted in remarkable liveries, beyond the usual standards, allowing us to reinvent our approach to Formula 1, as we saw in Miami and Singapore. I can't wait to see the VCARB01 sparkle in the spotlight on the track. »

Catherine Ferdon, Marketing Director of Cash App, sees this project as an opportunity to connect diverse audiences and make Formula 1 more accessible. “With our co-title partnership with Visa Cash App RB, we seek to bring the magic of Formula 1 closer to more people. This digital unveiling, inspired by our own Glitter Card, illustrates our differentiated approach to connecting with our customers”she explains. For her, this collaboration allows “create experiences that transcend expectations and open new avenues for fans”.
