Why Lilou Wadoux didn't ride during the women's test in Madrid

After three and a half days reserved for future holders of the 2024-2025 Formula E season, the last afternoon of testing was reserved for an exclusively female field.

Firmly established at the top of the Academy, Abbi Pulling (Nissan) dominated the times with a best time of 1:30.880. The Briton beat her compatriot Jamie Chadwick (Jaguar TCS Racing) by more than three tenths and Bianca Bustamante (McLaren) by more than eight tenths. Miki Koyama (Lola Yamaha ABT), the only other rider in the same second as Pulling, and Léna Bühler (Mahindra) completed the top 5.

On the French side, Lilou Wadoux was the only one registered for this test. Unfortunately for the Habs, the discovery of Formula E will have to wait. The 23-year-old from was unable to participate in this session due to an installation problem in her car.

« Lilou Wadoux visited our headquarters in Kidlington for a seat molding and a test in our simulator, declared the British manufacturer. Unfortunately, when Lilou jumped into the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 for her final pedal check here in Madrid, her seat wasn't as comfortable as she would have liked. We are investigating why the seat adjustments were not consistent. We are all very disappointed that Lilou was unable to take part in this session, as we know she is a fantastic racing driver with incredible talent who has made a positive impression on the team this week. Lilou will have another opportunity in the future to support the team and test one of our cars. »

Initially planned with Nissan, Sophia Floersch ultimately did not show up for this day due to an inability to follow the change of day.

The 2024-2025 Formula E season will begin on December 7 in São Paulo.
