THE SPORT SCAN – In the documentary of Movistar dedicated to Luis Enrique, the latter recounts all the memories he has with his daughter Xana, who died at 9 years old from cancer in 2019.
Movistar + broadcast this Monday the last episode of the documentary You have no fucking idea, dedicated to PSG coach Luis Enrique. In this episode, the Spanish technician talks about his daughter Xana, who died in 2019 from bone cancer at the age of 9.
«Do I consider myself lucky or unlucky? I consider myself lucky, very lucky. Xana came to live with us for nine wonderful years. We have thousands of memories of her. Videos, things… incredible» declares the 54-year-old Spaniard. Luis Enrique makes it a point of honor to keep his daughter’s spirit alive in his family, so that her presence is eternal.
«My dad couldn’t have any pictures of Xana, until one day I came home and asked why there aren’t any pictures of Xana. Mom said, ‘I can’t, I can’t. Mom, you have to wear Xana’. Xana is alive. On a physical level it is not, but on a spiritual level it is. We talk about her every day, we laugh and we remember. I think Xana still sees us.» A magnificent tribute from the Paris Saint-Germain coach.
