Nicolas Lapierre appointed sporting director of the Alpine team in WEC

Last Wednesday, Nicolas Lapierre, with 17 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans under his belt, announced that he was ending his racing career with immediate effect. Two days later, his team, Alpine Endurance Team, announced that the Haut-Savoyard was named sports director, a position specially created for him, with the main role of supporting the Team Principal, Philippe Sinault.
