To start the day, head to Pragelato for the mixed team cross-country skiing freestyle sprint events. The Gold medal was won by the Germany 1 team, which beat the France 2 team by 2.95.
The men's and women's Big Air freeski final rounds should have been held today but were postponed. If round 3 of Snowboard Big Air women and men was canceled, this is not the case for the other events. For round 2, it was Frenchwoman Victoire Tillier who won the Gold medal. In the men's category, the Gold medal was won by Klemen Vidmar (Slovenia).
This Sunday, January 19 was no exception to the rule: several Curling and Ice Hockey meetings took place. For Curling, these were sessions 6 and 7 for women, and sessions 7 and 8 for men.
For women, the winning teams of round 6 are: Japan, China, England, Republic of Korea and Canada. For session 7 the teams from the Republic of Korea, Norway, Japan, China and England won.
For the men's session 7, the winners are: Norway, Republic of Korea, Italy, Switzerland and United States. In session 8, Switzerland, the United States, the Republic of Korea, Canada and Switzerland triumphed.
This Sunday, the men's hockey players played in the quarter-final play-offs. With victories from Ukraine, USA, Canada and Slovakia. On the women's side, teams from Chinese Taipei (Taiwan, women 7-8) and the United States (games 5-6) won their matches.
-On the slopes of Bardonecchia, the Spaniard Aleix Aubert Serracanta won the Gold medal during the Grand Slalom events in alpine skiing.
Double blow for France in ski mountaineering: Remi Cantan for the men, and Margot Ravinel for the women won the Gold medal.
Then return to Pragelato for the final sprint events of the ski orienteering race. In the men's category, Teodor Mo Hjelseth (Norway) won the Gold medal. For the women, the Gold medal was won by the Finnish Amanda Yli-Futka.
