For the third year in a row, Felipe Drugovich will be Aston Martin's reserve driver. The Brazilian will retain this role in 2025 within the British team, behind the incumbent drivers Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll. At 24, Aston Martin's third driver is still clinging to his dream of becoming a Formula 1 driver despite the lack of opportunity available to him since his Formula 2 champion title, won in 2022.

“I am obviously very happy to remain with Aston Martin for a third full season as test and reserve driver, says Felipe Drugovich. The team is on a roll and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together. The incredible new facilities at the AMR Technology Campus, including the all-new simulator, are testament to the ambition here, and I am committed to being part of Aston Martin Aramco's long-term success. As always, I would like to thank the team for their continued support. »

Over the past two seasons, Felipe Drugovich has participated in five Free Practice 1 sessions with Aston Martin. In 2025, he will continue to be present on the circuits with the Greens, he who will share this role of reserve with Stoffel Vandoorne for one more year. In addition to Formula 1, Felipe Drugovich will be at the start of the 24 Hours of Daytona, in IMSA, with Cadillac at the end of January.
