Presentation season is about to start! While the MotoGP championship will begin in a month and a half, the official launches of the eleven teams will take place over the next four weeks, alternating with winter tests.
For once, the presentations will be grouped together in a rather harmonious way between the different manufacturers. Thus, it is Aprilia which will open the ball with its two teams. The satellite team Trackhouse Racing will be the first to organize a joint event tomorrow between its MotoGP team and that which operates in NASCAR. Then will come the official team, which will lift the veil on its ambitions with a new duo of drivers composed of Marco Bezzecchi and reigning champion Jorge Martín.
Then it's time for the Ducati teams, starting with Gresini Racing which remains loyal to the city of Imola. In the process, the annual Madonna di Campiglio event will bring together the manufacturer's factory drivers for the second most anticipated presentation, the one which will see Marc Márquez officially in red alongside Pecco Bagnaia. The VR46 team will complete this trio of launches from Indonesia, home of its main sponsor.
The official presentation of the two KTM teams is then expected on January 30, on the eve of the shakedown of the Sepang test. In a complicated context, with the financial crisis hitting the Austrian group, it will be a highly anticipated meeting in order to understand how the drivers and managers of the two teams position themselves.
Yamaha will wait until the first day of the shakedown, in which it is possible to participate thanks to the concessions still granted to it, to organize the presentation of its two teams: the factory team to which Fabio Quartararo belongs and the Pramac Racing team, newcomer in the group.
Finally, it is Honda which will close the presentations, the official team having chosen to do so on the sidelines of this shakedown while the LCR team of Johann Zarco will wait for the end of the Sepang test with a meeting announced for February 8.
Remember that, the next day, a collective launch of all the teams will be held for the first time, organized by the championship itself in Bangkok, ahead of the pre-season tests which will take place in Buriram three days later, then the Thai Grand Prix which will open the competition from February 28 to March 2.
