From January 31 to February 2, the 6 Hours of Portimão will see a variety of GT3s, GT4s and single-make GTs compete. In the first category mentioned, major endurance teams from all over Europe will be brought together, including Konrad Motorsport which has already won in its category at the 24 Hours of Daytona and will enter a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo II in Portugal.
We will also find SR Motorsport, which will be keen to put its vast experience of endurance racing to good use with its Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. Another team accustomed to the Nürburgring, GetSpeed will also line up with a Mercedes.
The MJC team, winners of the British Endurance Championship, will be there with Witt Gamski and Ross Wylie who will share the controls of a Bentley Continental GT3. The Aston Martin E2P team will also be racing, as will Greystone GT (McLaren), AKM Motorsport (Mercedes) and Goodspeed (Mercedes).
In GT4, the SR Motorsport Mercedes will attempt to continue its 2024 momentum in the GT4 Winter Series, while the SR Motorsport Porsche Cayman GT4 CS will be entered in the Club category. Competition will come from Jose Garcia and Patrick Kolb, driving a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS CS for Lionspeed GP.

The NM Racing team will also be closely following the Mercedes in the GT4 category, having fought for the championship in GT4 European Series, GT4 Winter Series and Iberian Supercars. The team also won in this category at the 24 Hours of Barcelona.
MS Racing will enter a McLaren Artura GT4 with Andreas Greiling in the lead. At home, the Portuguese team Gianfranco Motorsport will try to achieve success with a Toyota Supra GT4.
Finally, in the Cup 2 category reserved for Porsche 992 GT3 Cups, we note the registration of experienced teams, notably A-Workx, Wileco Motorsport and Mtech Competition. Furthermore, Racar Motorsport, leader of the GT Winter Series and Spanish GT and GT Cup Open Europe champion, will also try to win.
For the race scheduled for February 2, the start will be given at 11:30 a.m. with an arrival recorded at 5:30 p.m. Also note that during this weekend of the 6 Hours of Portimão the first three races of the Formula Winter Series 2025 will take place, with more than 30 young drivers ready to compete at the wheel of Tatuus F4.
