“I did my job, but being nice sucks. It's not even being nice, it's just respect. I know I have to keep quiet, but at some point it's always the same.”these were the strong words of Charles Leclerc spoken on the radio with his engineer, Bryan Bozzi, after the Las Vegas Grand Prix. In the capital of vice, the two Ferraris finished in third and fourth position respectively. While the Italian manufacturer encountered difficulties with tire resistance, the Monegasque was defeated in the last part of the test.

On the verge of a podium finish, the 27-year-old driver did not understand how his team managed the strategy. For his teammate, Carlos Sainz, the Spaniard managed to get on the third step of the podium, behind Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Faced with the virulent remarks of the native of the principality, the Madrilenian responded to his comrade clearly.

Charles Leclerc no longer wants to play team player?

In an interview with Sky Italia, the Ferrari driver gave his version of the race and banged his fist on the table. Positioned third in the world championship, the Monegasque no longer wants to worry and has only one objective: to keep his place, and even catch up with Lando Norris, second. But facing his teammate who will no longer be present within the Scuderia in 2025, the task promises to be difficult. For the last two meetings in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, the latter explained that he wanted to go solo.

“I'm not happy with Carlos, but I won't go into details. For what ? Because we talk about these things before the race and I'm always the only one who respects these agreements. From now on, I will only think about myself. It's a shame I couldn't score more points on Norris.”
