The missions consist of analyzing and understanding data from the wind tunnel and Computational Fluid Mechanics (CFM), in order to create and implement aerodynamic solutions to improve the team’s single-seater.

To stay in engineering, Alpine is looking for budding engineers to join its specialist training program. Lasting two years, it is designed to train aerospace, mechanical, automotive or aeronautics engineers, while being an integral part of the F1 team. It is built around practical sessions at the Enstone factory, surrounded and monitored by senior members of the team.

Mechanic in charge of old Formula 1 cars at Haas

Still in Formula 1, a position is to be filled at Haas within the team in charge of the old single-seaters of the American structure. Above all, it involves taking care of all the logistics, managing and preparing the transport of cars and mechanical equipment to the events to which the team is invited.

Based primarily at Haas’s UK premises in Banbury, you will be required to travel extensively. Also keep in mind that you may take part in pitstops if they take place, so know how to handle the tire gun.

Race mechanic in Supercars Championship

Let’s get out of the premier category of motorsport and join Australia in the Supercars Championship. Premi Air is looking for a mechanic to join its Touring team. The missions are similar to those of an F1 racing mechanic, although you will only have to work on the Australian team’s two Chevrolet Camaro ZL1s.

Please note that the advert requires Australian permanent resident status, being an Australian citizen or holding a valid work visa. In addition, a minimum of three years’ experience in motorsport is recommended, although not mandatory.

Caterham Championship Management Assistant

This is an administrative management position within the Caterham Racing structure which manages several Caterham championships in the United Kingdom. It’s written in black and white in the ad: this job isn’t the most glamorous in motorsport, but it touches a bit of everything.

You will have to manage customer service, take care of communication for the different championships and assist in the organization of the races, remotely, but also on site.
