Friday January 10, at the hall Lanrivai (Côtes-d’Armor), Philippe Le Joncour, the mayor of the town presented his wishes to the population. He recalled the municipal motto: invest, particularly in preservation of heritagewithout making loans to get the municipality out of debt. He took the opportunity to present the main projects for 2025, including a significant one which consists of saving the church!

A subscription for the church construction site

“Initially planned for 2024, we were obliged to carry out more detailed diagnostics on the entire structure after the discovery of dry rot due to the presence of jackdaws for many years,” recalled Philippe Le Joncour. The work will ultimately exceed 400,000 euros.

The tender commission has retained the quotes and requests for subsidies are in progress with the state, the department and the region. “To be able to obtain a second regional grant, we need to collect 1% of the total cost of the work, or at least 4,000 euros. A voluntary subscription will be made to the heritage foundation allowing the donees to exempt their donation from tax. We are counting on your generosity,” explained the mayor.
