The FCSM learned with immense sadness of the death of Pierre Emonin, at the age of 81. A multi-tasking employee, dedicated and with a big heart, he worked for many years in the service of the club.
Pierre was one of those essential people who, behind the scenes, contribute to the smooth running of the FCSM. Involved and invested in everything he accomplished for the club, it is difficult to summarize everything he brought to the table on a daily basis.
Passionate about football, Pierre served as a referee for a long time while working at Peugeot. He started at the club as a volunteer in the 1980s and took on responsibilities when the new Stadium arrived.
Many years of service with the FCSM followed, where Pierre was always there to support players, referees, delegates and many others.
Pierre was one of the faces who embody the club and its values. Appreciated by all for his involvement and his joie de vivre, his death leaves a great void in the hearts of collaborators and supporters. He will forever remain in the history of FCSM and will leave behind unforgettable memories.
The thoughts of all of FC Sochaux-Montbéliard are with his family and loved ones during these painful times.
A minute of silence will be observed in his memory during the next meeting at Stade Bonal.
