Often handicapped by his departures in the past, this time he managed to take the lead immediately. “It’s important for me, I have progressed in this aspect”. He then suffered a puncture. “I told myself it was going to be hot to win after that… It was a bit panicky but I managed to come back and win anyway”. But we had to work until the end. “It was tough behind me, I shouldn't fall asleep. I wasn't sure I would win at all. I still manage to amaze myself”.
AN ERROR OF HOSE FOR THEOPHILE VASSAL
Florian Fery would have seen his arms raised this Saturday. And he didn't miss much. “I continue to play up front, it’s cool. Soren changed bikes when I attacked but he managed to come back. It's a shame not to start with the right guts. I will be more careful next time. This shouldn’t happen to me at the French Championship or the World Cup… But you always learn from your mistakes”. The member of the Jura Cyclisme training also admits that “the two who finished in front were very strong”. And he was even afraid of seeing the podium slip away from him. “But I managed to re-mobilize myself well to stay on course”.
