The well-known Mortirolo Pass (Passo dello Mortirolo) is often considered one of the toughest passes in the Tour of Italy. Located in Lombardy, the Mortirolo is a real challenge on its most complicated slope (12km at 10.45%). Regularly climbed during the Girothe Mortirolo will also be known by another name. In fact, it was renamed “Cima Pantani”, obviously in homage to Marco Pantaniemblematic Italian champion.

A time trial on the pass?
