France ends the 2024 season first in the ranking of the national federations of the European Cycling Union.
This ranking takes into account the results (and not just the medals) of the various European Championships and European Cups in all disciplines: Track, MTB, BMX freestyle, BMX racing, Road, Gravel, Trial, indoor cycling and cyclo-cross.
France finished first ahead of the Czech Republic and Switzerland. These three federations are the only ones to score points in all disciplines. Belgium finished 9th (present in six disciplines out of nine) and Luxembourg 23rd (ranked only on road and in cyclo-cross). 34 national federations are ranked out of the 51 affiliates.
There is also a table of medals from the various European Championships where France is 2nd behind Great Britain and ahead of Italy. Switzerland is 6th, Belgium 7th and Luxembourg 23rd.
