The Italian Letizia Paternoster extended for two seasons with Liv AlUla Jayco. After an incredible season, where she notably obtained a 3rd place on Across Flandersa 9th in Tour of Flanders and a 4th in the general classification of the RideLondon Classicthe 25-year-old Italian continues with the Australian team which she joined in 2023, after having been with Trek-Segafredo (Currently Lidl-Trek) from 2019 to 2022. This summer, with her Italian teammates, she finished fourth in the team pursuit of Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Letizia Paternoster: “We can feel like real professionals, like men”
The recent winner of the Gatineau Tower in Canada will continue two more seasons with the team that she considers like family: “In this team there are some really special people, and they trusted me from the first moment. I feel like I can enjoy what I do, and I really like the way the team works. We can feel like real professionals, like men, because we have the same conditions. It’s really important to us, it’s incredible. The team is really well organized, we respect each other a lot, and I feel really comfortable within this team.”
“This season has given me a lot of strength for the years to come. This year has been full of experiences and my performances are improving every day, every month, every year. So I think I can still continue to improve I would really like to be one of the best runners in the world in the years to come and I know the team has faith in me. This winter will be really important to build myself up and be ready to race. doing and learning, but I’ve gained a lot of experience this year with Liv AlUla Jayco I’m super excited, I feel lucky and grateful to be able to be with the team, this amazing family, and I can’t wait.“
