The Groupe Cyclo de Montfaucon is launching a new end-of-season cycling competition. The “La Saint-Bonnette” timed climb will take place on Saturday October 19 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Meet for bib collection and registration in Saint-Bonnet le Froid, Saturday October 19, then 16.5 km connecting course to the start.
This is an individual event on a selective course of just over 12 km for a 330 m difference in altitude, from “le Pont du Mirail” (between Dunières and Riotord) to the finish in Saint-Bonnet -the-Cold. The route is known to cyclists, following the Saint-Bonnette river.
This climb is open to competitors licensed by the FFC, but also to non-licensed competitors, as well as to tandems. It is not open to electric bikes.
All male and female cyclists aged 13 and over can participate in an autumnal and gourmet atmosphere.
Several categories will be rewarded: U15 – U17 – U19 – seniors and scratch; prizes for all participants, refreshment on arrival.
It will also be an opportunity to pay tribute to a founding member of the club, with the Jean-Marc Debesse challenge.
