A little over two years after ending his contract with UAE Team Emirates, Alexys Brunel will return to the professional ranks next year within ProTeam TotalEnergies.
During the summer of 2022, the 25-year-old rider raced in the West Indies, at US Lamentin, where he won the Tour de Marie-Galante. Then the Northerner joined the N1 Dunkerque Grand Littoral but did not participate in any amateur events. He dedicated himself to triathlon. This year, the former European Junior Time Trial Champion in 2016 (see its DirectVelo file) took up gravel. Last month, he placed 2nd in Houffa (Belgium) where a round of the UCI Gravel World Series took place.
