The Valencia Classic 2025 (Classic Valencian Community 1969) will take place this Sunday January 26with a journey of 184 km between Valence and La Nucía. The course includes three climbsincluding the novelty of this 41st edition, Alt del Canongea particularly difficult pass. The peloton will be composed of 160 riders divided into 22 teams, including 8 WorldTeams. Names like Michael Matthews, Matej Mohoric et Santiago Buitrago are expected at the start.

Ce Sunday January 26, 2025the Valencia Classic returns for its 41st edition. This one day race, classified UCI 1.1marks the start of the European road cycling calendar. With a departure at Valence and an arrival at La Nuciathe journey of 184 km promises intense and strategic moments.
Course and profile of the 2025 Valencia Classic
The race will start at 12h15 on the Passeig de l'Albereda in Valencia, between the Exposició bridge and the Flors bridge. After a neutralization, the peloton will set off for a long flat section of 120 kmideal for the first escapes. Three passes will then punctuate the race :
L'Alt de Barx (3rd category, 6 km at 5.6%) in the La Safor region.
The legendary Coll de Rates (2nd category, 6.6 km at 5.3%), a must for Spanish cycling.
L'Alt del Canonge (Hard Nougat)new to this edition. This wall of 3,5 kmwith an average slope of 9,5 % and points 18 %is located at less than 10 km of arrival. Its narrow and winding ascent could be decisive for victory.
After the summit of Turrón Duro, a rapid descent will take runners to La Nuciawhere the arrival is expected around 16h30 to the Camilo Cano Sports City.
