A sweet smell of bourguignon beef floats in the air in Ladoix-Serrigny. The next street, it is the scent of the hot Épises that tickles the nose. From 11 am, the most hungry already left in search of food. The choice is vast for gourmets, from eggs to snails and most of the Burgundian specialties.
And for the first time this year, a 100 % Côte-d'Or village was installed. Ten stands for as many producers of products from the department are present. Patrice Sanchez, pigeon breeder in Ladoix-Serrigny, is the village organizer.
“We tried to mobilize the know-how closest to us,” he said. “On our stand it is the chef of the restaurant Ed.em De Chassagne who cooks our pigeons for example. We have beautiful starred chefs, we have the best worker in France, who come to work on our products from Côte-d'Or. Producers often have trouble getting out of their farms and there they are offered an extraordinary showcase. So I hope people will be tempted because we have great products to taste. »»
-Throughout the weekend, the chefs of several restaurants will serve the local products in the street.
