Double winner Arnold Jeannesson, former FDJ and then Cofidis rider, will come to defend his title. Winner in 2014, 2015 and 2019, Lilian Calmejane, winner of a stage of the Tour de France in 2017, will be present in Eymouthiers. Like Kévin Ledanois, world youth champion in 2015, he will celebrate his jubilee in Charente, the two thirty-somethings having decided to end their careers at the end of the year.
Anthony Delaplace, Élie Gesbert, Romain Hardy, Pierre Barbier and Clément Russo are also expected, as are Joshua Dubau, French cyclo-cross champion in 2022, or his brother Lucas, winner at Chambon the same year.
There will be many runners from the region, starting with Victorie Guilman, the first Charente woman to participate in the Tour de France this summer, and Yoann Paillot, Paralympic medalist this summer. The former VC Confolentais Valentin Retailleau and the former Top 16 Mathieu Morichon will also be at the start, as will the promising Guérétois Baptiste Vadic (Total Energies) or the Niortais Tom Mainguenaud, 5e of the amateur challenge this season.
