At the end of its general meeting this Tuesday evening, SCO Dijon noted the change of its president. Indeed, Régis Boucheseche hands over to Nello Comelli. “I am leaving my position due to lack of time and in order to preserve my health. I am proud of these five years, I have good memories. I have full confidence in Nello to take the club to new heights”declares former president Régis Boucheseche who is still part of the board of directors.
Régis Boucheseche will have spent five years at the head of the Burgundian club, after taking over from Bernard Mary (read here) who is still vice-president. As for his successor Nello Comelli, 70 years old, he has been at the club for five years. “I became friends with Bernard. I started slowly. I was a driver. For three years, I have been part of the office. This year, there was a vacant position in the treasury and I took in charge of this position. I wanted to participate in the life of the club. When Régis asked me to take on the position of president, I accepted. I am aware of the responsibility that falls on me. I will work with everyone to keep this beautiful family afloat and continue to move forward.
