The bike brand Lapierre announced that it would end its collaboration with the women's team FDJ-SUEZ this Thursday. After eight years spent at the highest global level of women's Cycling, the two entities are ending their collaboration at the end of 2024. This decision comes as the Lapierre brand is working on a new strategy for the near future. “Lapierre is proud to have supported women's cycling and accompanied the growth of the French FDJ-SUEZ team led by Stephen Delcourt towards the summits of world road cycling since 2017” writes the brand in a press release.

A fruitful collaboration
The track record acquired since 2017 is impressive: stage winner on the three grand tours (France, Spain, Italy) including the most notable on the 3rd stage of the Tour de France Women 2022 thanks to Cécilie Uttrup Ludwig. Lapierre et FDJ SUEZ also shone on the greatest Flandrian classics with victories on The Walloon Arrow, Liège Bastogne Liège, and theAmstel Gold Racewithout forgetting more than 10 national titles (France, Denmark, Sweden, Australia, Italy…) on the road and in time trials. The 2024 season was the year of consecration with the historic treble, Australian Champion, Olympic Champion at Paris 2024 and 2024 World Champion of the Australian Grace Brown against the clock.
