Para-cycling World Championships | The intolerable double betrayal of the French

As you may have noticed, we have been regularly talking about the and Para-cycling World Championships lately. And each time, it is for the wrong cause. Between the odious title of Paul Seixas, the indecent hat-trick in the H1-5 mixed men’s relay and the 100% French podium in the C4 category time trial, the FFL no longer has the right to dream with two-wheelers. While we thought we had come through the worst, two new betrayals have just landed on our desk. Enough is enough.

Two more unacceptable gold medals

The pool of French para-cycling is abysmal, dizzying. And the time trial of the C3 category confirms this perfectly. Reigning Paralympic champion, Thomas Peyroton-Dartet was naturally aiming for a double with the Worlds to hope to climb into our Blacklist of very great vintage this year. But the Frenchman finally had to settle for the chocolate medal (oh what a shame). While we thought we were out of trouble, we could do absolutely nothing against Florian Bouziani. The latter won gold by two damn seconds on Finlay Graham. Absolutely terrible.

So of course, this filthy feat makes people jealous. And who else but Mathieu Bosredon, triple medalist of the Paralympic Games, to do Ctrl C + Ctrl V of this performance. Engaged in the time trial of the H3 category, the Frenchman does a double in these World Championships by winning the gold medal. Oxygen becomes impossible to find.

Para-cycling is flirting a little too much with the win

But Florian Bouziani and Mathieu Bosredon are not the only dissidents in our federation. To these two gold medals, we must (unfortunately) add the silver medals of Florian Jouanny, Alexandre Léauté, Loïc Vergnaud and the bronze medals of Joseph Fritsch and Anaïs Vincent. Seven medals on Tuesday alone, to bring the total to fourteen since the start of these World Championships. What federation of the loser in this world would let such a revolution happen?

It is high time that we prepare our own revolt.
