Constituting one of the measures of the smart health strategy carried by the region, the partnership will primarily concern projects falling within one of the following axes:
- Women’s health
- Innovation chirurgicale
- oncologists
- Neurosciences
- Biotherapies and bioproduction
The implementation of this partnership will be based on the first two third-party experimentation sites set up by the AP-HP with the support of the State as part of the France 2030 plan. mission to support candidate projects for this program and to identify the most suitable experimental sites within the institution’s 38 hospitals. This is the pioneering third place @Hôtel-Dieu, focused on digital health, supported by the AP-HP in partnership with Paris Cité University, and the third place BOPEX, focused on the operating room, supported in partnership with Paris Saclay University and the Medicen competitiveness cluster. These third places will allow start-ups to more easily access hospital expertise and test their innovations in close collaboration with clinicians. They thus contribute to accelerating the development, evaluation and marketing of new tools for the benefit of patients.
The first projects benefiting from this system, set up for an initial period of two years, will be selected in the last quarter of 2024. The objective is to support around 8 to 12 projects per year for a aid amount of nearly €2M.
