Since 2010, The 12 strokes of noon has known many Midday Masters who now form a family. The former champions sometimes meet outside of television sets but without Émilien. Here's why.
THE 12 shots of noon sounded for the first time on June 28, 2010. For more than fourteen years, Jean-Luc Reichmann has welcomed every lunchtime on his set four candidates who struggle for almost an hour to present themselves in front of him and try to achieve a ” Masterstroke.” Obviously, over the years and the epics of the greatest champions, links have been created and a “family” of the 12 shots of noon was born. An expression which is not exaggerated for Bruno, second in the ranking of historical Midday Masters, who said more to Tele-Leisure : “The family of 12 coupsI think viewers are saying to themselves: 'He's making a big deal out of it, that's fine, they're just going to take part in a TV game'. But it's really a very demanding adventure, whether physically or emotionally.”
“It's so cool to be there“: reunions are organized between the former champions of 12 shots of noon
Every year, several former champions meet again for a weekendfar from the stress of the plateau 12 shots of noon. In 2024, the destination was Normandy. The location changes every year because the participants are scattered across France. "It's so cool to be there," Bruno tells us, who takes the opportunity to congratulate the team of casters for finding the candidates for the TF1 game: “This is where we see that the casting of the show is still very well done, becauseWe are all very different humanly, but at the same time, we all adore each other.“
The 12 strokes of noon : Émilien is not invited to the weekends organized by the former Midday Masters for a simple reason
However, these culture-filled escapades take place without the youngest, Émilien. The greatest champion in history still competing after more than 460 victories, he is however not invited to these weekends. Nothing personal, that's the rule: the current champion is not welcome. A way, according to Bruno, to let him take full advantage of what happens to him: “It’s an adventure that you normally do once in your life and the goal is really to stay in your bubble, to enjoy the moment.” A situation that the recent candidate of Traitors had also experienced: “I said: 'Such a weekend, there is no filming, I can come if you want.' On m’a dit : ‘Oh no, when the Midday Master is in class, we don't invite him.’“ To participate in these weekends, the young Vendéen knows what remains to be done.
