the essential
“Here here, es aqui” is a local gift card available to individuals and businesses.
It is sometimes not easy to find gift ideas… And even less so gifts that will definitely please their recipient. Gift cards are also an increasingly popular solution. With “Here here, es qui”, this solution is not reserved for national brands but open to all types of local businesses.
Tested during the health measures linked to Covid-19 by the community of Tarn-Agout municipalities (CCTA) for traders for a year, it has taken its final form with “Petits Commerces”, a national platform reserved for independent local shops .
Also the vouchers offered (in denominations of 20 to 150 euros which can be used in several installments) are to be spent only at local traders and producers to participate in the development of a virtuous local economy.
The icing on the cake is that restaurants, food shops, decoration, clothing and games stores, florists, beauty salons, second-hand shops are partners… It's impossible not to “have fun” with it.
A year after its launch, the skeptics must resign themselves. Since its launch, nearly a thousand gift cards have been sold and more than €57,000 have been reinjected into the economy. It can be purchased at the Tarn-Agout tourist information office located at 35 Grand-Rue or on the “Petits Commerces” website. An interactive map shows nearly a hundred businesses in Tarn-Agout that accept this card.
This system is part of a broader action carried out to promote “local consumption” with the creation of a local collective tavern in Ludolac, the networking of local traders and producers during events or the organization of markets relocated, to also support local commerce in the rural communities of Tarn-Agout.
