The singer and guitarist who will be 51 on Friday was sentenced in October 2023 by the Brussels Criminal Court to a sentence of two years' imprisonment for ” unrepresentation of children ». She had refused to present herself to the criminal court and had been sentenced by default. Jan Goossens criticizes Rokia Traoré for prevented him from seeing their child for five and a half years, when the little girl was four years old, and for having constantly subtracted to the Belgian judges.
