Cinema: Robbie Williams reincarnated as a monkey

“I just wanna feel”, “Angels”: Robbie Williams’ career is littered with global hits, difficult to get out of your head once heard. But his career has not been linear, it even follows a fairly eventful trajectory, as shown in “Better Man”, by Michael Gracey. A special artist required a special interpretation: Robbie Williams is played by… a chimpanzee!

The film uses motion capture technology, with the real singer giving his voice to the monkey. Despite this strange choice, “Better Man” faithfully follows the career of Robbie Williams.
