After seeing her Malibu house burn in the fires ravaging Los Angeles, Paris Hilton helps the victims. She helped a family recover their lost cat.
On Monday, the star spent the day volunteering for the Human Pasadena Society, an NGO which took in several animal victims of the fires. There she saw a cat that was found after the fire destroyed entire neighborhoods of Altadena. And she launched an appeal to her many fans on her social networks to find the owners of this “so sweet” ball of fur.
The approach apparently worked, as the Human Pasadena Society told them on Tuesday that the cat had been reunited with its family, reports TMZ. Unfortunately, as she does not have a home at the moment, the feline still lives at the shelter.
Paris Hilton also took a liking to Zuzu, a 3-year-old chihuahua abandoned by his owners, and decided to take him in. As can be seen in a publication.
“As an animal lover, I am heartbroken for those who have lost their furry friends or had to abandon them because they were displaced,” she says.
In 72 hours, Paris Hilton’s non-profit, 11:11 Media Impact, raised $800,000 in funds for victims of the Los Angeles fires.
