Today the singer was informed of the loss of Mario Allardone of his long-time musicians and, above all, a faithful friend. Mario Allard was not only a respected musician, but also a person of great humanity, who had a profound impact on those who knew him.
It is through social networks that Robert Charlebois shared this moving news, paying tribute to his friend and his exceptional career.
Here is his post below:
«A woman loses her love, a child loses his dad. And I lost a friend, Mario Allard.
I see us again here in Guadeloupe last year, where you came to play jazz and enjoy the Caribbean Sea with your little family. My best memories of our last 20 years are when I see you again on stage in all your tenor sax, baritone and transverse flute solos, as only you could do them.
Quebec loses a great musician, jazz students lose a master, I lose my favorite saxophonist. Your magical notes will stay in my heart forever… ????
I offer my sincere condolences to Catherine, your little boy and your entire family.
Goodbye artist.
Your friend Robert Charlebois, Laurence, Victor and Jérôme»
The entire 7jours.ca team would like to express its most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones during this difficult time.
