Fires in Los Angeles: Sharon Stone says she is ready to shelter victims: News

In an interview with NewsNation, actress Sharon Stone said she was ready to welcome victims of the violent fires in Los Angeles.

The fire continues to ravage the outskirts of Los Angeles, three days after the start of the fires in the City of Angels. The provisional toll now shows at least ten deaths in a press release published on Friday, January 10 by the Los Angeles County Forensic Institute. The flames have burned nearly 15,000 hectares, according to the California State Fire Department. More than 180,000 people have been evacuated. Military reinforcements will be deployed.

Several personalities have committed to helping the victims of the fires. In an interview with NewsNation, Sharon Stone said she would welcome them into her home. “I have hosted friends at my house. Families are arriving too. We are setting up a place to help people. We are setting up beds throughout the house”she clarified.

At the same time, the Basic Instinct and Casino actress explained that she had set up a supply system with her sister and friends: “It’s called The Coop. If you have clothes or shoes that people might need, you can give them to us!”

For his part, Jamie Lee Curtis, whose house was ravaged by the flames, declared this Thursday that his family had donated one million dollars “to create a fund to support our great city and state, and the great people who live and love it”.
