Halle Berry announced she is donating her entire wardrobe to support victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.
A commendable gesture. After Sharon Stone called on her 4 million Instagram followers to donate clothes to the COOP store, temporarily transformed into a relief center for fire victims in Los Angeles, Halle Berry also supported the initiative, saying: “I empty my wardrobe and go to the Coop! If you are in Southern California, I invite you to do the same. We can act now to help displaced families who need essential products today! Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. I love you, Madam.”
The comedian also responded to concerned fans, confirming that the items are being given away for free and that shipping from other states is possible. Among the testimonies, artist Anjelika Perry explained that several members of her family had lost their homes, including that of her deceased mother. “Oh my God. I’m really sorry. God bless you ! I promise I will continue to find ways to help you,” replied Halle Berry.

Since Tuesday, Los Angeles has been ravaged by violent fires, including the Eaton fire near Pasadena and the Pacific Palisades fire, the most destructive. The latter destroyed more than 5,300 buildings and burned more than 7,700 hectares. At least ten deaths have been confirmed, but authorities expect the toll to rise as affected areas are surveyed.
