This Saturday, September 14, candidate Angélique Angarni-Filopon was elected Miss Martinique 2024, after her second participation in the competition.

New Miss competed to win their golden ticket to the Miss France 2025 competition. More precisely, 12 candidates presented themselves to spectators this Saturday, September 14 at Tropiques Atrium. The competition was also sold out, proving the interest of the Martinican inhabitants, but also their support for the candidates.

The show was presented by Sylvie Tellier and Maxime Schneider. What’s more, the special guest was
Eve GillesMiss France 2023, and Kélia Paulin sang. Many dances were featured during the show: African, Caribbean, and contemporary dance.

Angélique Angarni-Filopon elected Miss Martinique 2024

During the show, after the 12 candidates had passed through, 5 of them were finally selected for the last round: Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Fort-de-France, Steiphie Boulard, 24, an engineer, who is also multilingual and athletic, Julia Couturier from Robert, 19, who is continuing her studies in human resources management.

There was also Shirley Thorel, a 32-year-old business leader from Fort-de-France, as well as Gabrielle Liège, 20, from Lamentin who is continuing her studies in economics and management. Frédéric Gilbert, CEO of Miss France, was also president of the jury, and was accompanied by Axelle Rene, Miss Martinique 2022, basketball player Sandrine Gruda, racing driver and business leader Simon Jean-Joseph, journalist and ATV presenter Hélène Serignac, and McDonalds Martinique CEO Marie-Kelly Roussas.

Who is the new Miss Martinique?

It was after more than 2 hours of show that the beautiful Angélique Angarni-Filopon was Miss Martinique 2024. Her crown was given to her by Chléo Modestine, Miss Martinique 2023. The candidate, and new Miss Martinique is a 32-year-old flight attendant.

And this is not her first participation in the Miss Martinique contest, but her second. It was in 2011 that Angélique Angarni-Filopon had already tried her luck, and had been elected first runner-up. This Saturday, September 14, it was therefore the right one for Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Fort-de-France, who received several prizes, trips and a car.
