Vianney: happy dad, he reveals rare images of his son and daughter-in-law

During this holiday season, Vianney gives numerous interviews. Last November, it was in the columns of the magazine Gala that he also remembered his worst Christmas present.

“I remember, when I was very little, I was beaten by my parents. Because I cried so much I wasn’t happy with a gift. In ‘but you don’t realize how lucky you are’ mode, all that. And I had a bicycle helmet, actually. And when I put it on, I felt so ugly, I said ‘I’m sorry, but it’s horrible what you gave me!’ And after that, when I didn’t really like a gift, I didn’t say it. And I said ‘thank you’ politely“, he recalled.

Now the father of a little boy named Edgar, Vianney was undoubtedly fully aware of the pain that his own parents may have felt that day. Now he probably hopes his son never puts him through such an ordeal. And the same goes for his daughter-in-law to whom he dedicated the song Step-dad. A role that he discussed at length at the microphone of France Blue.

For him, the recipe for a perfect understanding is based on two essential ingredients: “the “patience” of “love”“. “It is simply by loving this child that things will go well in the long term. It’s a matter of patience and love (…) Each person with whom we build our life has a previous experience. And that must be embraced. Don’t judge him…“

A busy year 2024

Usually very discreet about his private life, Vianney recently made an exception to celebrate the transition to the year 2025. On his social networks, the artist shared several notable moments from the past yearaccompanied by a caption full of emotion: “From a Victoire de la Musique at Notre-Dame, through my life as a husband and (step)dad forester that you know less: here is my 2024! Thank you for always being so present, despite my songs without a tour, my feet on the chair, & my zero-effort on the red carpets. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025 EVERYONE“.

A touching publication which notably allowed her fans to discover the pretty little blond head of her son, Edgar, but also to see her daughter-in-law in the middle of horse riding training. Too cute!
