Six months after the first broadcast of the Lacoste advertising campaign featuring Pierre Niney, the Édouard Pailleron sports space revealed behind the scenes of this aquatic shoot.
Last summer, Lacoste unveiled the advertising spot for its new perfume “L'Original”, with Pierre Niney in the lead. A tribute to French cinema, the video clip featured the interpreter of Comte de Monte Cristo during an ordinary day. In the middle of an interview, when the journalist asked him what word he would use to describe himself, the actor displayed an enigmatic smile and saw his day go by. A daily life tinged with mystery during which… He threw himself, fully dressed, into a swimming pool.
A “memorable” shoot
This weekend, six months after the first broadcast of the spot, the Édouard Pailleron sports space, located in 19e district of Paris, revealed the behind-the-scenes filming of this sequence on its social networks. “A few weeks ago, we had the honor of welcoming Pierre Niney for the filming of an exceptional advertisement!”, proudly indicated the aquatic center on Instagram as a caption. And added: “Discover behind the scenes of this memorable day where sport, cinema and good humor were there”.
Indeed, in the forty-second video posted online on December 18, we clearly see Pierre Niney advancing on a footbridge installed at the edge of a swimming pool, throwing himself back and landing on enormous mattress. A few seconds later, he appears at the bottom of this same pool, filling himself with oxygen before advancing towards his partner of the day.
