“You are not Jean-Marie Bigard!” : the comedian furious with a famous brand which never respected his request

It's a refrain that we've all heard hundreds of times on French television and today, Jean-Marie Bigard finally answers the question that everyone is asking: what does he think of the little song that accompanies advertisements for the Bigard brand? The agri-food company has accompanied each of its spots for several years with the song of Tom Jones, Sex Bomb by changing the lyrics and obviously, it didn't really please the 70-year-old comedian.

Present this Friday, December 20 in the show At Jordan de Luxe on C8, the artist sued for public insults by his ex-producer, responded to the host regarding this story. I think they exaggerated. I asked nicely. I said, 'Look, I'm not going to get into a lawsuit with you.' explains Jean-Marie Bigard, who then begins to sing at the top of his lungs the famous refrain from the Bigard group advertising, before adding: I could very well have taken them to court saying: 'No, it's a little too much, because you're not Jean-Marie Bigard. You are hamburgers.”

The comedian wanted the Bigard group to donate a sum of money to the fight against cancer

Lola Marois' husband, 28 years younger than him, then discusses the outcome of this affair and seems to regret the company's attitude towards him. “I didn’t go there (at the trial, editor’s note) and I told them: “Send 100,000 bullets to cancer (to an association, editor’s note) and we will be even”he remembers, before answering the host's question, who asks him if the Bigard group did it: “Non, they never did and they could havebecause they have a lot of money. They would have done that, I would have said: 'Well done guys, you gained notoriety and you did an act of love so it's perfect.'

A little anecdote that Jean-Marie Bigard has still not digested, as he indicated this Friday morning on the set of At Jordan de Luxe.
