Born on October 9, 1990 in the North Caribbean in Martinique, she nevertheless grew up in mainland France, more precisely in Vauréal, in Val d’Oise. “It was a very calm childhood. I lived in a small suburban neighborhood, my neighbors were all girls. I had my little group of best friends“, she smiles. Among them, a certain Mélissa, with whom she has been friends for 32 years!

Everything changed for Angélique Angarni-Filopon when she entered 6th grade. “I gained 30 cm in one year and I went from 1.47 m to 1.77 m, which earned me a bit of mockerya little difficulty“.

We struggle a lot at those ages, but I was mentally strong enough“, describes Angélique Angarni-Filopon in hindsight.
