Jeremstar: Santa’s Village was really shit

“Scam of the century”, rather than magical moment. This is how Jeremstar summed up his visit to Santa Claus Village. “I spent a day at Santa Claus’ village in Lapland and it was really shit,” said the 37-year-old Frenchman, in a video published on December 15, 2024, on his social networks.

“To get there, we took a bus which cost us more than 100 bucks (editor’s note: 106.50 euros for three according to the ticket he shows in the video),” added the influencer who fights against harassment . A price they had to pay again to return. On site, he denounced “a broken decor” and “a money factory”.

In addition to having to wait an hour to meet Santa, the YouTuber discovered that he had to buy the photos taken by the staff. These cost 40 euros (printed photo), 55 euros (download link) or 90 euros (printed and online version). In a store, he found a sweater for 265 euros. Enough to make him ask a saleswoman: “Is it a fucking joke?”

Disappointed, he advised his fans to “really avoid this place.” In the comments, many Internet users thanked Jeremstar for his honesty. Others, however, say they are surprised by such a summary, having had a great experience themselves. As evidenced by this comment: “The scam is you! I go there every year even the dogs are allowed to visit Santa Claus the village is free the visit to Santa Claus also we don’t force you to take a photo at the end it’s optional.
