It's official, Malcolm will return to our screens with Hal and Lois

So the rumor was true. For several years, Bryan Cranston and Frankie Muniz have discussed the possibility of seeing Malcolm return to our screens. The cult sitcom, broadcast between 2000 and 2006, will be entitled to a revival with the original family. Indeed, according to VarietyDisney+ has officially ordered a new season of four episodes, written and executive produced by series creator Linwood Boomer. Obviously, Bryan Cranston, Frankie Muniz but also Jane Kaczmarek will be back for the greatest pleasure of the fans.

According to the official synopsis, Malcolm will now be married and father of a little girl. When his parents Hal and Lois summon them to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary, Malcolm and his daughter will be taken into a downward spiral, as funny as it is embarrassing. On the other hand, we do not yet know if Christopher Kennedy Masterson (Francis), Justin Berfield (Reese) and Erik Per Sullivan (Dewey) will be back in the revival, although there is hope.

If ever the irremediable desire to see again Malcolm takes you, know that the first seven seasons are available in full on Disney+ from us. 151 episodes of pleasure while waiting for the arrival of the revival, which does not yet have a release date.
