This Saturday, December 14, TF1 will broadcast the new edition of the Miss France competition.Thirty candidates, proudly representing their regions, will try to win the crown to succeed Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024, who will put his own on the line!
Miss France: a candidate almost died
Before the big day, they all made the rounds in the media to introduce themselves to the French. And among them, Manon Le Maou who will represent Franche-Comté.This bubbly 28-year-old brunette has distinguished herself to this day as a police officer. During an interview given to Télé-Leisure,
the person also revealed that she had narrowly escaped death. “I was driving my service vehicle with my colleague and oHe was hit by a motorist who refused to comply.We were thrown into a ravine”,
confided the beauty queen to our colleagues.
“I still remember being plunged into this ravine”
A significant event that she will probably never forget. “I still remember being plunged into that ravine, bloodiedcall the firefighters, not being able to get out of the vehicle, smelling the smell of fire because the vehicle of the person who hit us had caught fire. It was a very, very intense moment.“, added Manon Le Maou. An incident which also motivated her to take an interest in the world of Miss: “For the record, this is what made me say to myself:“We only have one life so we have to do the things we want to do.” And That's why I wanted to apply for Miss France.”
More fear than harm
Very fortunately apart from “a nasal deviation” et
“a few small ones on the face”,
the young woman miraculously escaped serious injury. “If I hadn't experienced that, I might not have realized that life is very fragile, that it can end for anyone at any time, it's not because we are 20 years old and have our whole life ahead of us, on the contrary“, added Manon Le Maou. A strength of character that sets her apart. It remains to be seen whether on Saturday she will manage to win the coveted Miss France sash.
“I myself have volunteered in several shelters”
Having her hand on her heart, the latter also defends the animal cause. “I have always grown up with animals so it is my heartfelt cause. It was logical for me to defend this cause as Miss and I was also able to defend it in my profession”underlined Manon Le Maou. “I was able to help animals sometimes in a state of extreme suffering within the framework of my profession and I was able to handle legal proceedings for animal causes. I myself was a volunteer in several shelters due to the vagaries of my assignments“.
