What should we expect from Renaud's concert on Saturday at the Colisée de ?

Renaud will meet his fans this Saturday, November 23 at the Colisée de . And they will be there, since there are only a few dozen places left for the evening.

Renaud doesn't hide it: he has had complicated years. The composer of notable hits of the 80s like Walk in the shadow or Morgana from you got lost in the vapors of alcohol, only to escape, dive back in, and stop again… permanently, we hope for him.

In our December 3, 2019 edition, he proclaimed: “I dove back. I found a good addiction clinic, where I played sports. They gave me treatment to stop drinking. Medication , at first, then nothing. I've been sober for ten months. On the other hand, I was reborn from the ashes… of cigarettes.

More recently, in our edition of February 24, he admitted: “It’s Cerise (Editor’s note: his wife) who made me reborn. I was a bit at the bottom of the hole when I met Cerise. I was coming out of a long period of alcoholism. I got through it miraculously, through the power of love.”

“Going on stage every night is eternal happiness”

So what to expect from Saturday evening's concert at the Colisée de Chartres? Renaud will perform, in his own way, his greatest songs as part of his In my ropes tour, accompanied by an ensemble of instrumentalists.
The fans know, the singer no longer has his voice of yesteryear, and yet, they are there. Tonight's concert is not yet sold out, but it is well filled. A few places are still available as a “black Friday” offer.

What did you think of Michel Polnareff's concert at the Colisée in Chartres?

What keeps him going? In his own words, it is the unwavering support of his audience. “Going on stage every evening is an eternal joy. I have a wonderful audience, who have followed me for almost 50 years now.”
In Chartres on Saturday as on the other dates of the tour, Renaud will once again share these precious moments of communion. Ephemeral – it only lasts for an evening – but precious.
