This November 19, 2024, former Prime Minister Édouard Philippe was the guest of the RTL morning show. He received important advice from comedian Philippe Caverivière. The latter is convinced that to win the 2027 presidential election, he should get closer to a very popular personality. Namely Jean-Jacques Goldman!
The singer retired in 2002. He now lives in London. But the French continue to sing his songs “When the music is good”“Like you”“I give you”. So much so that without giving any sign of life, he is still the favorite personality of the French.
Jean-Jacques Goldman first lady
This is why Philippe Caverivière proposed it to Édouard Philippe, hilarious in the RTL studio. “Your partner won’t like it, but it’s for France!” he told her. He explained that “it wouldn't be bad, in view of his accession to the Élysée”comparing this choice with the other presidents of the Republic. And to quote: “Hollande, he is with Julie Gayet, Macron, he is with the actress of Emily in Paris, Brigitte Macron, Sarkozy, he is with Carla Bruni”.
And if he admits that Jean-Jacques Goldman is “a disruptive choice”Philippe Caverivière assumes. With him, “there are no more matches in 2027”he said.
He therefore visualizes an official announcement, and a draft program. He estimates: “The guy who bursts in saying: 'I don't have a program, economy, I'm not very good, delinquency is a mess, immigration anyway, they're coming, but I propose Jean-Jacques Goldman as first lady, he will be elected.”
And to conclude, by playing a song by the idol on RTL. Philippe Caverivière then asks for his agreement and Jean-Jacques Goldman replied: “Hmmm good idea!”
A whole program
Between that and the fact that Marine Le Pen risks being disqualified if she is convicted in court, Philippe Caverivière believes that Édouard Philippe could win. In any case, it has a major advantage over its competitors, a “president size”.
From the height of his 89 meterthe mayor of Le Havre is the same height as Jacques Chirac and Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Far ahead of the 73 meter of Emmanuel Macron and François Hollande, and much further than the 66 meter of Nicolas Sarkozy.
