. Habib’s suitcase at the Jérôme Morcillo gallery

The works of artist Habib Hasnaoui are exhibited at the Jérôme Morcillo gallery at 26 rue de l’Hôtel de Ville until December 7.

Habib Hasnaoui is a painter, whose work is part of the contemporary art movement. Born in Algeria, he draws his inspiration from the richness of its cultural heritage and the beauty of the landscapes of his native country. His artistic approach is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, which allows him to create works that reflect his attachment to his roots and his openness to contemporary pictorial techniques.

During the exhibition “Habib’s suitcase”, a sculpture created by the artist, will be presented. Habib’s suitcase is much more than just luggage. It is the symbol of a journey, of an often difficult personal journey, marked by exile, adventure, and discovery. She carries within her memories of a past life, fragments of identity, and dreams of the future. It is a living memory that we carry with us. Habib Hasnaoui’s suitcase is a metaphor for shifting identity, resilience in the face of change, and the human capacity to adapt while remaining deeply attached to one’s roots.
