He wants to rejuvenate but is not immune to certain risks.

He would like to be 18 again, and devotes his fortune to fighting against time. At his own risk as evidenced by his latest Instagram post of his swollen face.

Bryan Johnson's dream? Rejuvenate and even become immortal as evidenced by the goal to which he decided to devote his fortune (and his body): the Blueprint project. “When I started, I had a question: are we the first generation that will not die?” To put all the chances on his side, the businessman who made his fortune in online payment did not skimp on the means as he recalls in his latest Instagram post: “To begin with, my team and I We evaluated all scientific literature on longevity and aging, ranking the best-performing health therapies with the most compelling evidence.”

“Baby Face Project”

Among his research, calorie restriction was imposed first but did not necessarily have the desired effect as he explains: “My daily calorie consumption went from 2500 to 1950. As a result, I became really skinny and lost a lot of fat, especially in my face. My biomarkers were improving, but I looked off. People thought I was about to die.” Enough to lead him to deduce that youth is associated with a fit and not emaciated face. “It didn't matter how good my biomarkers were if I didn't have fat on my face. So, we started Project Baby Face, to determine if we could restore the lost volume.”

The concept? Inject a fat-derived extracellular matrix to restore volume by stimulating the body's natural fat growth. “It's possible to use your own body fat for this, but the problem was that I didn't have enough fat on my body to extract it, so I used a donor,” adds Bryan Johnson. The effects did not take long to be felt, as evidenced by the photos still published on his Instagram account.

“Immediately after the injections, my face started to break out. And then it got worse, worse and worse, until I couldn't even see. It was a serious allergic reaction.”

We actually see his face completely swollen and deformed at several stages. Nothing to do with the smooth face he displays throughout his publications. Obviously, the millionaire took almost a week to find the latter.

We already knew it was very restrictive, but obviously the path to immortality is not without danger either. “Building a product is one thing; being the product is a completely different thing,” concludes the multimillionaire who is already working on a new attempt at this new project which has so far given him the face of a boxer rather than a baby.
