Dancing with the stars: Denitsa Ikonomova gave birth to her first child, she publishes an adorable video to announce it

Denitsa Ikonomova is a mother. The dancer and juror of the TF1 show “Dancing with the Stars” gave birth to her first child. The father is the former star dancer of the Paris Opera François Alu who was also part of the show's jury. The romantic relationship between the two dancers dates from 2021.

Denitsa Ikonomova and François Alu announced the birth of their child in a joint message on Instagram this Thursday, November 14. “You already make us so happy. We will do everything we can. To make you strong against the thorns of the world. We will love you every second,” they write.

Neither the sex of the baby nor the first name he or she has has been announced by the two new parents.

The two dancers received numerous messages of congratulations in the comments of the Instagram post from many dancers from “Dancing with the Stars” such as Christian Millette, Maxime Dereymez, Fauve Hautot, Emmanuelle Berne or Mary Denigot, from the juror of the Jean-Marc Généreux show but also the singer Alizée, the ex-Miss France Marine Loiseau or the former winner of “Koh-Lanta” Claude Dartois.

Born in Bulgaria 37 years ago, Denitsa Ikonomova was a standard dance, Latin dance and ten dance champion in her country before emigrating to Canada with her family. Although she worked in banks for eight years, her love of dance never left her. She participated in a TV dance show in Canada in 2011 before joining “Dancing with the Stars” in France in 2012. She has four victories to her credit in the company of actor Rayane Bensetti, singer Loïc Nottet, TV candidate -reality Laurent Maistret and actor Clément Rémiens.
