A strong personal story to tell us?
In my family, the Misses are almost a tradition! My sister participated in the Miss France 2020 election, representing, like me, the Burgundy region. She was crowned third runner-up to Clémence Botino, a great moment of pride for all of us. This pushes me today to try to go this far and take on this new challenge.

When and why did you decide to submit your candidacy for the regional election? Were you elected on the first attempt?
I sent my application in November 2023, and what an adventure it has been since! I was first elected Miss departmental in March, then Miss regional in October of the same year. Everything happened very quickly, but it was a childhood dream that came true. Since I was little, I have watched every Miss France election, it's a moment that I never miss under any circumstances, even on vacation!

Did you have any doubts before starting out?
Yes of course. Being the little sister of a Miss France runner-up is both a source of pride and pressure. I felt the need to work twice as hard to show that my participation was not just about the last name, but about strong personal will.

Does everyone around you support you?
Fortunately, my family has always supported me in this project. They are delighted to be able to experience this adventure a second time with me. There was no opposition, rather benevolence and a lot of joy.

What do you say to those who consider the competition outdated or even misogynistic?
I think that the Miss France competition has evolved a lot and continues to do so. Those who consider him misogynistic or outdated often see only a superficial image. For me, it's more than just looks. It's a commitment, a platform to defend important causes and inspire other women. It's no longer just a beauty contest, it's a way of showing that we can be both feminine and committed.

What do you think of the evolution of the Miss France competition? Did opening the competition to more varied profiles influence your desire to present yourself?
The evolution of Miss France is an excellent thing. Opening up to more diversity, whether in terms of age, background or horizons, shows that the competition is no longer stuck in old standards. It is a more inclusive approach, which better reflects the diversity of our society. This certainly reinforced my desire to introduce myself, because I believe that all women should have the opportunity to wear this scarf, regardless of their background.

What particular cause do you want to defend?
I particularly want to defend the fight against breast cancer. As an ambassador for “Pink October”, I want to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and support women who are fighting this disease. It's a cause that is close to my heart.

How do you handle the sudden notoriety that could fall on you on December 14?
I think fame is an inevitable aspect of the competition, but I want to use it wisely. It's a great tool for making my voice heard on the causes that matter to me. Of course, it can be intimidating, but I feel ready to take on this responsibility and stay true to myself.

Does seeing Eve Gilles face harassment on social media worry you?
It is certain that online harassment is a worrying reality, and seeing Misses like Eve Gilles being confronted with it is alarming. This of course worries me, but I also believe that we must arm ourselves with resilience and be ready to face this type of situation. The most important thing is to stay surrounded by loved ones and know how to step back from these attacks.

A childhood memory strongly linked to Miss France?
The moment that had the most impact on me was undoubtedly seeing my big sister on the Miss France stage. It was both a moment of immense pride and an unforgettable memory, as she represented our region with such grace and determination. This is also where my dream took on even more meaning.

Which Miss France made an impression on you and why?
Marine Ltemporel, without hesitation. She is not only Burgundian, which creates a special connection, but she is also an exemplary woman. What inspires me about her is her commitment to pursuing medical studies while assuming her role as Miss France. She proved that you can be beautiful, intelligent, and dedicated to a cause at the same time.

A mentor or someone who has influenced you throughout your life?
My big sister is my mentor, in this Miss France adventure but also in my life in general. She has been a source of advice, support, and above all a role model that I am extremely proud to have by my side. She always encouraged me to surpass myself.

The trait of your character that you like to highlight?
My humor, without a doubt!

A hidden talent?
The dance. I had never practiced this sport before participating in the Miss competitions, and it was there that I discovered a real passion for this art.

A book?
“The Housekeeper” by Freida McFadden. It's a psychological thriller that captivated me from start to finish.

A song?
Classic music revisited from “Bridgerton”. They are both modern and elegant, a beautiful fusion of past and present.

A film or a series?
“The devil wears Prada”.

Your favorite pastime?
To travel. Whenever I get the chance, I pack my backpack and set off to discover new horizons.

A guilty pleasure?
The grape. I guess that's pretty typical of a Burgundian!

A fetish object?
My grandmother's wedding ring.

Are you willing to take heart?
No, my heart is already taken… by beef bourguignon!

Our great wines! As a Burgundian, it is a real pride to come from a region so rich in wine history and know-how recognized throughout the world.
